Georgian 'Queen Anne' Earrings
A pair of rare and striking Georgian 'Queen Anne' pink paste earrings circa 1750. Each earring consists of 4 foil-backed paste stones and varies in shades of pink. As with most Queen Anne jewelry, the stone settings consist of gilt metal. These are likely not an original pair but charmingly combined and actually match up quite well with one another. Original earring fittings have been replaced with 14k gold ear wires at some point in time (a much more wearable and comfortable option). A spectacular piece of jewelry to own with loads of character and history.
