Victorian Enamel Mourning Hexagon Band
A Victorian mourning band dating to the mid 1800s featuring sections of enamel faceted edges that read "IN MEMORY OF." This hexagonally constructed band was made to commemorate M. John Tapper who passed on January 30, 1858 at the age of 60 as indicated by the engraving inside the shank. Assay and hallmarks are present. Ring sold with original antique ring box.
