Georgian 'Queen Anne' Blue Paste Brooch

A Georgian 'Queen Anne' brooch made of two chunky foil-backed and six black-dot paste stones set in silver. Made over 250 years ago, this is a rare sight of Georgian blue paste, especially in this deep shade of cobalt. Stones are faceted, in lovely condition and foiling is nicely preserved. On a slightly smaller scale than our previous Queen Anne pieces, but charmingly so.
