Georgian 'Queen Anne' Opaline Paste Brooch
An incredible example of Georgian-era Queen Anne jewelry. This brooch is made up of a combination of rare opaline and black-dot paste stones. Entirely set in silver, these hand-faceted stones have aged beautifully throughout its c.1790 lifetime. It appears that the pin fixture was added on later, indicating that this piece originated as a pair of earrings.
